Dendrophilia

Dendrophilia is not in the Encarta dictionary, but it is in the OED under the "dendro" prefix. It literally means "love of trees."

Dendrophilia first came up in post #17 of the "Mike Piazza is/is not gay" thread (NYPOST.COM Gossip: In and out with the Mets) of May 21, 2002. One poster, "An Anonymous Dendrophiliac," essayed a flowery defense (now lost) of his first love. Dendrophilia jokes quickly began to sprout elsewhere on the site.

As you can see, some definitions of dendrophilia are not so clear-cut.
