Dusty Baker

From Wiki Gonzalez

Dusty Baker (born 1949) is a controversial major league manager, first with the San Francisco Giants (1993-2002) followed by the Chicago Cubs (2003-2006). After his Cubs contract went unrenewed following the 2006 campaign, he joined ESPN as a color analyst on their baseball broadcasts. In 2008 he will return to baseball as a manager for the Cincinnati Reds.

He is Meatwad's prime target, and chews on a toothpick while managing.

Both Baseball Think Factory and Baseball Primer had many threads discussing the tao of Dusty. Baker's best traits as a manager were considered to be his ability to manage a clubhouse, particularly veteran stars like Barry Bonds and the numerous veterans on both the Giants and Cubs. His worst traits were considered to be game management and integration of young players onto the roster. Baker was widely blasted for the creation of the F-Troop of useless bench players.
