"It's a trap!" is a phrase famously uttered by Admiral Ackbar of the Rebel Alliance.

In Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, rather than stoically leading the Rebel Alliance during a failed attack on the Death Star, Ackbar instead frantically wailed like a little girl. His cowardly exclamation upon being outflanked by the Empire made him a source of parody on Primer anytime an issue came up that was sure to lead to a fruitless discussion (Pete Rose reinstatement, Barry Bonds on steroids, Productive Out Percentage).

The phrase spawned perhaps the funniest Primer parody of any troll, in which a poster using the handle "Vince Coleman" wrote, "It's a tarp!"

The phrase "It's not a trap!" could be heard all over Orange County during the controversial call in the bottom of the 9th inning during Game Two of the 2005 ALCS.
