The concepts of overrated and underrated are somewhat meaningless, because they depend on who is doing the "rating". Derek Jeter is overrated in New York and underrated in Boston.

Someone should implement a system similar to that used by the Lying in Ponds partisanship index (http://lyinginponds.com/allnormcombinedpi.html) to gauge mathematically a given player's "rating" in a given set of newspapers, but that someone will have to be not lazy.

Waffles are also underrated.

According to some, the evilness of bunnies is vastly underrated.
