Walt Jocketty

Walt Jocketty is general manager of the St. Louis Cardinals. He took the job in 1994 after leaving an assistant GM position with the Rockies.

Before the Rockies job, he worked as one of the bright young assistants in the Sandy Alderson-led front office of the Athletics.
